"I went to Hawk expecting the worst. I'd heard all the stories and even in our special activities selection board, warned the applicants that the physical requirements were very demanding. I wanted to see it for myself, partly to satisfy my own curiousity, but also so that I could pass along hints and tips to cadets in my wing planning to attend the summer school.
