First off this month
is an article by Air Force Academy cadet and former CAP Cadet James Naugle. Cadet Naugle
discusses his drive, his motivation and his waistline in a piece we like to call Yes, it's just like Top Gun. If you have any interest
in getting into the Air Force Academy, CadetStuff recomends you read this article and then
don't do what Cadet Naugle did.
Then we're starting a short series that will reveal - in
all its hellishly-difficult glory - Capt Matt Heusser's Guide to Review Boards, Board of the Rings (Part 1). If you've got some
Cadets who's testing ability is writing checks their leadership ability can't cash, check
out this valuable how-to. It will help you make sure that your Cadets only promote when
they're ready to promote. Note: He doesn't specifically mention money
changing hands, but it's there if you read between the lines.
Finally, to round out the month we have an article
by newly-minted Capt Hugh Stewart of Florida Wing. Written on the eve of his twenty-first
birthday, then C/Col Stewart contemplated his life so far and his life once he came over
the to Dark Side of Seniordom. All we Seniors can say is: "Welcome to the club,
Hugh! You may be getting older, but it beats the alternative." Read My Descent into Twilight to find out what it feels
like to leave your soul behind.
