FM 22-102 Released (finally!)

Darin Ninness

At long last, the U.S. Army has seen fit to update one of its old classic field manuals: FM 22-102, Wall-to-Wall Counseling.

Some of your Senior NCOs and older officers will remember the many and varied forms of leadership advice offered by this manual as an integral part of a daily diet of discipline and duty.

Many a soldier from Privates all the way to Captain were lucky enough to have had the opportunity to be counseled in heretofore unknown ways found within the very pages of this unlikely tome.

Here are some selected excerpts from this venerable cornerstone of any true "leadership" program.

The full manual is expected to be released on 29 February 2009.

This is *not* a real FM. Get with it people! April Fool!

Readers who choose to hardcopy this document are entitled to specific rights, namely: you may print this off and read it repeatedly until you have memorized it and then rattle it off as if you had thought it up yourself; but if anyone asks you - or if you have to actually pull this printed copy out of your pocket to read from - then you are required under Law (Jude Law, that is. Y'know, the English guy in "Gattica"?) to say, "This was on CadetStuff.org and I stole it like it ain't no thang!" and then do the River Dance.
