Berghorn, McLarty Join the CadetStuff Staff

CadetStuff

CadetStuff.org is pleased to welcome CPT George Berghorn, United States Army Cadet Corps and Capt Nick McLarty, CAP to the CadetStuff staff.

Captain Berghorn will serve as our Leadership Editor, replacing Maj Matt Heusser. Maj Heusser will continue on in his role as our Senior Contributor.

CPT Berghorn is a CAP member and former Spaatz Cadet and an active member of the American Cadet Alliance's United States Army Cadet Corps. He is presently assigned as the commanding officer of the ACA unit at Sefridge ANGB, Mt. Clemens, MI. He is also the Deputy Chief of Staff for Education & Training at the ACA National Headquarters.

He has whole bunch of advanced degrees such that it looks like someone spilled alphabet soup after his name. Both he and his wife Emily live in Lansing, Michigan.

Captain McLarty joins the CadetStuff staff as our Senior Developer. In this role, Captain McLarty will lead the effort to develop CadetStuff's "next generation" content delivery application framework.

He hails from San Antonio, TX where he is the web technologist with the Northside Independent School District. He is also a Combat Arms Training Instructor with the USAF Reserve at Lackland AFB and is pursuing a CAP-USAF Reserve Assistance Program slot.

On the volunteer side of the house, Captain McLarty is the Cadet Programs Officer for the Lackland Cadet Squadron. A member since 1997, Captain McLarty fast burned his way to C/TSgt before being turned to the Dark Side by coffee & donuts.

Please join me in making Captains Berghorn and McLarty at home here at CadetStuff.org.

Y'know, the English guy in "Gattica"?) to say, "This was on CadetStuff.org and I stole it like it ain't no thang!" and then do the River Dance.
