Read To Lead

John Knowles

Sometimes National Headquarters creates new programs and ideas but the word doesn't get down to the grass roots of the Cadet Program. So without further ado, because just like the pigs that we are rooting around in the grass, (pigs, rooting, you get it) here is a brief intro to the program.

The Civil Air Patrol "Read to Lead" program is based on the same concept as the Air Force Chief of Staff Professional Reading Program. They identify books in specific categories that enhance the professionalism of members. The readings can simply further their understanding of ideas or improve on their day-to-day jobs.

As a public service to our cadets here is the latest that NHQ has to suggest:

Y'know, the English guy in "Gattica"?) to say, "This was on CadetStuff.org and I stole it like it ain't no thang!" and then do the River Dance.
